Paramaribo the top performing city in Suriname
Paramaribo recorded the fastest median mobile and fixed download speeds among the most populous cities in Suriname. Its median mobile download speed was 51.83 Mbps, and it recorded a median fixed download speed of 19.25 Mbps.

Paramaribo District had the fastest median mobile download speed among Suriname’s regions, recording 51.93 Mbps. Saramacca District was second, followed by Wanica District in third. At the other end of the scale, Para District had the slowest median mobile download speed at 24.31 Mbps, followed by Nickerie District and Commewijne District. Telesur was the fastest provider across two regions.

Commewijne District had the fastest median fixed download speed among Suriname’s regions, recording 22.21 Mbps. Para District was second, followed by Marowijne District in third. At the other end of the scale, Nickerie District had the slowest median fixed download speed at 11.3 Mbps, followed by Saramacca District and Brokopondo District. Telesur was the fastest provider across three regions.
