Proximus offered the best 5G gaming experience in Belgium during 2H 2024, while Proximus fiber recorded the best gaming experience among ISPs, according to Speedtest Intelligence data.
Proximus fiber the fastest fixed ISP in Belgium
Proximus fiber was the fastest ISP in Belgium during 2H 2024 with a median download speed of 301.81 Mbps, and a median upload speed of 177.78 Mbps.
Ghent and Antwerp were the top performing cities in Belgium
Among the most populous cities in Belgium, Ghent recorded the fastest median mobile download speed of 164.97 Mbps, while Antwerp outpaced the other cities to record the fastest median fixed download speed, with 91.79 Mbps.

Antwerp had the fastest median fixed download speed among Belgium’s most populous cities, recording 91.79 Mbps. Ghent was second, followed by Brussels in third. At the other end of the scale, Liège had the slowest median fixed download speed at 73.62 Mbps. Proximus fiber was the fastest provider across all five cities in this analysis.
