Entel was the fastest mobile provider in Chile during 2H 2024, across all technologies combined, and also specifically for 5G. It recorded a median 5G download speed of 162.88 Mbps, and an upload speed of 23.59 Mbps.

MundoPacifico the fastest fixed ISP in Chile
MundoPacifico was the fastest ISP in Chile during 2H 2024 with a median download speed of 354.51 Mbps, and a median upload speed of 289.11 Mbps.
Santiago Metropolitan Region and Valparaiso were the top performing regions in Chile
Among the regions of Chile, Santiago Metropolitan Region recorded the fastest median mobile download speed of 59.49 Mbps, while Valparaiso outpaced the other regions to record the fastest median fixed download speed, with 306.20 Mbps.

Fastest Mobile Network
Entel was the fastest mobile provider in Chile during this period, based on Speedtest Intelligence® data for all technologies combined, with a Speed Score of 87.64. Entel led on median download speed, recording 62.7 Mbps, ahead of next placed WOM, which recorded 49.47 Mbps, and Movistar with 41.41 Mbps. Entel recorded a median upload speed of 15.13 Mbps, and the lowest latency with 40 ms.

Fastest 5G Network
Entel was the fastest 5G provider in Chile during this period, based on Speedtest Intelligence® data, with a Speed Score of 137.79. Entel led on median 5G download speed, recording 162.88 Mbps, ahead of next placed Movistar, which recorded 150.41 Mbps, and WOM with 138.27 Mbps. Entel recorded a median 5G upload speed of 23.59 Mbps, and a latency over 5G of 34 ms.

Most Consistent Network
There was no winner of best mobile network Consistency in Chile during this period, based on Speedtest Intelligence® data, with no statistical difference between the mobile providers. WOM had the best 5G Consistency in the market, with 90.2% of samples meeting or exceeding the threshold of 25 Mbps download and 3 Mbps upload.

Santiago Metropolitan Region had the fastest median mobile download speed among Chile’s regions, recording 59.49 Mbps. Aysén was second, followed by O’Higgins Region in third. At the other end of the scale, Tarapacá Region had the slowest median mobile download speed at 31.96 Mbps, followed by Araucania and Los Ríos Region. Entel was the fastest provider across five regions.

Valparaiso had the fastest median fixed download speed among Chile’s regions, recording 306.2 Mbps. Atacama Region was second, followed by Antofagasta Region in third. At the other end of the scale, Maule Region had the slowest median fixed download speed at 211.47 Mbps, followed by Magallanes y la Antártica Chilena Region and Aysén. Movistar was the fastest provider across seven regions, followed by MundoPacifico in five.
