Entel was the fastest mobile provider in Chile during 2H 2024, across all technologies combined, and also specifically for 5G. It recorded a median 5G download speed of 162.88 Mbps, and an upload speed of 23.59 Mbps.
Entel offered the best mobile quality of experience
Entel offered the best 5G gaming and video streaming experiences in Chile during 2H 2024, according to Speedtest Intelligence data.
MundoPacifico the fastest fixed ISP in Chile
MundoPacifico was the fastest ISP in Chile during 2H 2024 with a median download speed of 354.51 Mbps, and a median upload speed of 289.11 Mbps.
Santiago Metropolitan Region and Valparaiso were the top performing regions in Chile
Among the regions of Chile, Santiago Metropolitan Region recorded the fastest median mobile download speed of 59.49 Mbps, while Valparaiso outpaced the other regions to record the fastest median fixed download speed, with 306.20 Mbps.

Santiago Metropolitan Region had the fastest median mobile download speed among Chile’s regions, recording 59.49 Mbps. Aysén was second, followed by O’Higgins Region in third. At the other end of the scale, Tarapacá Region had the slowest median mobile download speed at 31.96 Mbps, followed by Araucania and Los Ríos Region. Entel was the fastest provider across five regions.

Regional Performance
Valparaiso had the fastest median fixed download speed among Chile’s regions, recording 306.2 Mbps. Atacama Region was second, followed by Antofagasta Region in third. At the other end of the scale, Maule Region had the slowest median fixed download speed at 211.47 Mbps, followed by Magallanes y la Antártica Chilena Region and Aysén. Movistar was the fastest provider across seven regions, followed by MundoPacifico in five.
