At the other end of the scale, Pedernales had the slowest median mobile download speed at 15.09 Mbps, followed by San Cristobal and Azua. Claro was the fastest provider across 14 regions.

National District had the fastest median fixed download speed among the Dominican Republic’s regions, recording 58.43 Mbps. La Romana was second, followed by Santo Domingo in third. At the other end of the scale, Dajabon had the slowest median fixed download speed at 9.64 Mbps, followed by Independencia and Monte Cristi. Altice was the fastest provider across nine regions, followed by Claro in four.
