DNA offered the best 5G gaming experience in Finland during 2H 2024, while Valoo recorded the best gaming experience among ISPs.

Valoo was the fastest ISP in Finland during 2H 2024 with a median download speed of 278.18 Mbps, and a median upload speed of 266.77 Mbps.
Pirkanmaa and Satakunta were the top performing regions in Finland
Among the regions of Finland, Pirkanmaa recorded the fastest median mobile download speed of 166.24 Mbps, while Satakunta outpaced the other regions to record the fastest median fixed download speed, with 185.8 Mbps.

Fastest Mobile Network
DNA was the fastest mobile provider in Finland during this period, based on Speedtest Intelligence® data for all technologies combined, with a Speed Score of 132.63. DNA led on median download speed, recording 120.56 Mbps, ahead of next placed Telia, which recorded 109.22 Mbps, and Elisa with 94.9 Mbps. DNA also led the market on median upload speed, with 20.73 Mbps, and a latency of 36 ms.

Fastest 5G Network
DNA was the fastest 5G provider in Finland during this period, based on Speedtest Intelligence® data, with a Speed Score of 193.71. DNA led on median 5G download speed, recording 224.99 Mbps, ahead of next placed Telia, which recorded 212.86 Mbps, and Elisa with 191.38 Mbps. DNA also led the market on median 5G upload speed, with 29.3 Mbps, and a latency over 5G of 34 ms.

Most Consistent Network
DNA recorded the best mobile network Consistency in Finland, with 95.6% of its samples meeting or exceeding the threshold of 5 Mbps download and 1 Mbps upload throughput. It also had the best 5G Consistency in the market, with 89.4% of samples meeting or exceeding the threshold of 25 Mbps download and 3 Mbps upload.

Pirkanmaa had the fastest median mobile download speed among Finland’s regions, recording 166.24 Mbps. Uusimaa was second, followed by Central Finland in third. At the other end of the scale, North Karelia had the slowest median mobile download speed at 118.27 Mbps, followed by Lapland and Kymenlaakso. DNA was the fastest provider across four regions.

Satakunta had the fastest median fixed download speed among Finland’s regions, recording 185.8 Mbps. Northern Ostrobothnia was second, followed by North Karelia in third. At the other end of the scale, Pirkanmaa had the slowest median fixed download speed at 104.54 Mbps, followed by Uusimaa and Lapland.
