Odido led the mobile market across key performance metrics
Odido was the fastest mobile provider in the Netherlands during 2H 2024, across all technologies combined, and also specifically for 5G. It recorded a median 5G download speed of 240.19 Mbps, and an upload speed of 28.53 Mbps.
Odido and Delta Fiber offered the best gaming experiences
Odido offered the best 5G gaming experience in the Netherlands during 2H 2024, while Delta Fiber recorded the best gaming experience among ISPs.
Delta Fiber the fastest fixed ISP in the Netherlands
Delta Fiber (formerly Caiway) was the fastest ISP in the Netherlands during 2H 2024 with a median download speed of 234.62 Mbps, and a median upload speed of 208.56 Mbps.
Eindhoven and Almere were the top performing cities in the Netherlands
Among the most populous cities in the Netherlands, Eindhoven recorded the fastest median mobile download speed of 206.54 Mbps, while Almere outpaced the other cities to record the fastest median fixed download speed, with 219.13 Mbps.

City Performance
Eindhoven had the fastest median mobile download speed among the Netherlands’s most populous cities, recording 206.54 Mbps. Breda was second, followed by Utrecht in third. At the other end of the scale, Almere had the slowest median mobile download speed at 157.47 Mbps, followed by Nijmegen and Amsterdam. Odido was the fastest provider across all ten cities in this analysis.

Almere had the fastest median fixed download speed among the Netherlands’s most populous cities, recording 219.13 Mbps. The Hague was second, followed by Groningen in third. At the other end of the scale, Amsterdam had the slowest median fixed download speed at 150.17 Mbps, followed by Nijmegen and Rotterdam. Ziggo was the fastest provider across four cities, followed by Odido and Delta Fiber in two each.
