Wellington recorded the fastest median mobile and fixed download speeds among the most populous cities in New Zealand. Its median mobile download speed was 177.67 Mbps, and it recorded a median fixed download speed of 220.06 Mbps.

Spark led on median 5G download speed, recording 363.54 Mbps, ahead of next placed 2degrees, which recorded 302.25 Mbps, and One NZ with 260.89 Mbps. Spark recorded a median 5G upload speed of 23.67 Mbps, and a latency over 5G of 48 ms.

Most Consistent Network
2degrees recorded the best mobile network Consistency in New Zealand, with 92% of its samples meeting or exceeding the threshold of 5 Mbps download and 1 Mbps upload throughput. Spark recorded the best 5G Consistency in the market, with 86.6% of samples meeting or exceeding the threshold of 25 Mbps download and 3 Mbps upload.
