Telenor led the mobile market across key performance metrics
Telenor was the fastest mobile provider in Sweden during 2H 2024, across all technologies combined, and also specifically for 5G. It recorded a median 5G download speed of 235.92 Mbps, and an upload speed of 20.18 Mbps.
Bahnhof offered the best quality of experience among ISPs
Among the top ISPs in Sweden, Bahnhof offered the best video streaming and gaming experiences during 2H 2024, according to Speedtest Intelligence data.
Bahnhof the fastest fixed ISP in Sweden
Bahnhof was the fastest ISP in Sweden during 2H 2024 with a median download speed of 190.65 Mbps, and a median upload speed of 160.78 Mbps.
Stockholm and Norrköping were the top performing cities in Sweden
Among the most populous cities in Sweden, Stockholm recorded the fastest median mobile download speed of 207.86 Mbps, while Norrköping outpaced the other cities to record the fastest median fixed download speed, with 190.47 Mbps.

Stockholm had the fastest median mobile download speed among Sweden’s most populous cities, recording 207.86 Mbps. Jönköping was second, followed by Norrköping in third. At the other end of the scale, Örebro had the slowest median mobile download speed at 104.21 Mbps, followed by Helsingborg and Västerås.

Norrköping had the fastest median fixed download speed among Sweden’s most populous cities, recording 190.47 Mbps. Malmö was second, followed by Stockholm in third. At the other end of the scale, Jönköping had the slowest median fixed download speed at 111.27 Mbps, followed by Helsingborg and Västerås.
