Telenor led the mobile market across key performance metrics
Telenor was the fastest mobile provider in Sweden during 2H 2024, across all technologies combined, and also specifically for 5G. It recorded a median 5G download speed of 235.92 Mbps, and an upload speed of 20.18 Mbps.
Bahnhof offered the best quality of experience among ISPs
Among the top ISPs in Sweden, Bahnhof offered the best video streaming and gaming experiences during 2H 2024, according to Speedtest Intelligence data.

Bahnhof was the fastest ISP in Sweden during 2H 2024 with a median download speed of 190.65 Mbps, and a median upload speed of 160.78 Mbps.
Stockholm and Norrköping were the top performing cities in Sweden
Among the most populous cities in Sweden, Stockholm recorded the fastest median mobile download speed of 207.86 Mbps, while Norrköping outpaced the other cities to record the fastest median fixed download speed, with 190.47 Mbps.

Telenor was the fastest mobile provider in Sweden during this period, based on Speedtest Intelligence® data for all technologies combined, with a Speed Score of 168.71. Telenor led on median download speed, recording 149.14 Mbps, ahead of next placed Tele2, which recorded 102.47 Mbps, and Telia with 96.93 Mbps. Telenor recorded a median upload speed of 16.06 Mbps, and a latency of 37 ms.

Fastest 5G Network
Telenor was the fastest 5G provider in Sweden during this period, based on Speedtest Intelligence® data, with a Speed Score of 212.90. Telenor led on median 5G download speed, recording 235.92 Mbps, ahead of next placed 3, which recorded 144.44 Mbps, and Tele2 with 117.66 Mbps. Telenor recorded a median 5G upload speed of 20.18 Mbps, and a latency over 5G of 35 ms.

Most Consistent Network
There was no winner of best mobile network Consistency in Sweden during this period, based on Speedtest Intelligence® data, with no statistical difference between the mobile providers. Telenor recorded the best 5G Consistency in the market, with 86.7% of samples meeting or exceeding the threshold of 25 Mbps download and 3 Mbps upload.
